Highly Commended Best Marketing Campaign – Recruitment Consultant Awards 2011
CWJobs.co.uk was highly commended for its Augmented Reality CV campaign which created the world’s first AR CV for David Wood, co-founder of Symbian, and launched a competition for two IT jobseekers to have their CVs converted into AR and distributed to over 2,500 IT recruiters.
CWJobs received a high level of engagement through the tech community achieving coverage in key IT and tech blogs and websites, as well as an additional unique jobseekers year-on-year (a 5% upswing) for the duration of the campaign. Furthermore, the two winning jobseekers who had their CVs created in AR were both offered roles as a result.

CWJobs.co.uk won this award for the innovative ‘getitornot’ campaign which used tongue-in-cheek messaging to connect with a savvy IT audience. The idea was to underline the difference between those who understand IT, and those who don’t with a simple binary principle - you either get IT, or you don’t.
The campaign consisted of a series of on and offline adverts challenging jobseekers to prove their IT credentials before they are ‘allowed’ to access the CWJobs site. The adverts received a very good response registering 21,330 visits to CWJobs.co.uk within the first three months, and a 16% increase in brand favourability.
Winner Niche Online Marketing Award – Onrec Awards 2010
CWJobs.co.uk won this award for the ‘MySkillsCloud’ campaign – a clever online tool that allows jobseekers to generate a personalised ‘skills cloud’.
Jobseekers can make each IT skill on their cloud bigger or smaller using a slider, to reflect their level of experience in that field. The resulting image summarises their skills at-a-glance, and can be saved, emailed to a friend or compared to the current demand from IT recruiters.
